In this context, application of mineral fibers is a novel and growing approach. This study was aimed to Reduce the plant fibers by application of, mineral fiber in the papermaking system. Application of 0, 10, 20, and 30% Loadings of rock wool mineral fibers (RWMF) in incorporation with cationic starch (1%) on handsheet strengths, RWMF retention and total retention of stock were investigated. Results showed that bonding-dependent strengths, e.g. tensile and burst, were reduced by increasing the RWMF loading due to the low bonding ability of RWMF compared to the lignocellulosic fibers, while the tear index was increased up to 20% RWMF and declined then after due to higher intrinsic strength of the mineral fibers. Interwoven network creation of mineral-organic fibers during the sheet forming, enhanced the mineral and total retention value, however, despite priority of 30% over 20% substitution, there was no statistically meaningful differences. Therefore, with respect to severe reductions, the overall optimum substitution level of 20% for RWMF was reported in NSSC pulp production according to the obtained strengths results. In addition to economic and technical benefits derived from the mineral fiber application, the higher retention indirectly affects the environmental aspects such as reduction in suspended organic solids in process water, easier treatment of wastewater and lesser utilization of forest and other lignocellulosic fiber resources, all as the most important issues.}, keywords = {Mineral fibers,strength properties of paper,NSSC pulp,retention}, title_fa = {کاربرد الیاف معدنی پشم سنگ بر ویژگی‌های مقاومتی و ماندگاری خمیر کاغذ NSSC}, abstract_fa = {رشد مصرف کاغذ و کمبود منابع لیفی، راهکارهای متنوعی را برای تأمین ملزومات ضرورت بخشیده است؛ و کاربرد الیاف معدنی در این زمینه، روشی نوین و رو به رشد است. بنابراین در این پژوهش و با هدف کاهش نیاز به الیاف گیاهی، کاربرد آن در سامانه کاغذسازی بررسی گردید. کاربرد الیاف معدنی پشم سنگ در سطوح صفر، 10، 20 و 30 درصد بههمراه 1 درصد نشاستۀ کاتیونی در خمیر کاغذ NSSC بر مقاومتهای کاغذ دستساز آزمایشگاهی ( 60 گرم بر متر مربع)، ماندگاری الیاف معدنی و ماندگاری کل دوغاب نشان داد که جایگزینی و افزایش سهم الیاف پشم سنگ بهعلت قابلیت ایجاد اتصالات ضعیفتر در مقایسه با پیوندهای بین لیفی الیاف لیگنوسلولزی، موجب کاهش شاخص‌های مقاومتی وابسته به پیوند، نظیر کشش و ترکیدن میشود؛ در بالاترین سطح افزودن، بیشترین کاهش مقاومتی مشاهده شد. الیاف پشم سنگ بهعلت طول و مقاومت ذاتی بیشتر، تا حدی سبب افزایش شاخص مقاومت به پارگی شد، اما در سطح جایگزینی 30 درصد و به‌سبب برتری کاهش مقاومت پیوندی بر افزایش ناشی از مقاومت ذاتی الیاف معدنی، کاهش شاخص پارگی کاغذ را در پی داشت. ایجاد شبکۀ درهمرفتۀ الیاف آلی- معدنی در حین شکلگیری کاغذ، ماندگاری الیاف پشم سنگ و ماندگاری کل را افزایش داد، اما تفاوت آماری معنیداری بین سطوح 20 و 30 درصد الیاف پشمسنگ مشاهده نشد. بنابراین و با توجه به افت شدید مقاومتها، سطح بهینۀ جایگزینی 20 درصد الیاف پشم سنگ در خمیر کاغذ NSSC،  شایان گزارش است. افزایش ماندگاری علاوه‌بر مزایای فنی و اقتصادی، به‌طور غیرمستقیم از جنبههای زیست‌محیطی همچون کاهش مواد جامد آلی معلق در آبهای فرایندی، سهولت فرایندهای تصفیه و کاربرد کمتر منابع الیاف گیاهی و جنگلها، نیز حائز اهمیت است. }, keywords_fa = {الیاف معدنی,ویژگی‌های مقاومتی کاغذ,خمیرکاغذ NSSC,ماندگاری}, url = {https://jfwp.ut.ac.ir/article_59047.html}, eprint = {https://jfwp.ut.ac.ir/article_59047_70d8e672eb94803c1526e2b429e57f1f.pdf} }
